Independence

This site earns nothing and costs me about ninety dollars a year. That's the whole arrangement.

What I refuse

• Advertising. There's no ad space on any page and no network involved.
• Affiliate links. No link here pays me anything if you book or buy.
• Sponsored posts. Asked for regularly, refused every time.
• Free meals. I pay for everything I write about. Two restaurants have offered and both were told why not.

Why this page exists

Because you should assume a travel site is paid for by someone unless it tells you otherwise, and most don't tell you. If this changes, this page changes first, with a date on it.

Affiliation

None. Not with Tourism Richmond, not with the City of Richmond, not with the night market organisers, not with any restaurant or hotel.

Corrections

hello@richmondbcplaystay.com. I fix the page and note what changed. Old versions aren't deleted quietly.
